Aerials is a fun, low impact activity that uses a fabric hammock to perform Yoga and Pilates style movements and poses.

The hammock provides support for your body weight, taking pressure off joints and is an effective alternative to performing exercises on a mat.

Aerials promotes mobility, with the fabric providing additional support for deeper and longer holds. Its versatility allows for a wider range of exercises including inversions (hanging upside down).  Fully optional of course!

Flowing through a series of supportive holds and stretches, you will have the opportunity to enhance flexibility, mobility and mindfulness.

Private Sessions & Gift Vouchers

Private sessions are available on request. Why not book an Aerial experience as a fun group outing (maximum 5 persons per class) or gift an experience to someone special. Gift Certificates available.

What to wear and what to bring

Comfortable clothing such as yoga / exercise wear is highly recommended.  Towel.  Water Bottle.  No footwear is worn during sessions.  Grip socks are optional (and may be worthwhile in the winter months).  Please DO NOT wear jewelry, watches or clothing with zips as these may damage the aerial fabric.  Excessive makeup may stain the fabric so we recommend you come as your natural beautiful self.

Yoga mats are provided although you are welcome to bring your special mat if you prefer.

Cautions

It is recommended to avoid Aerials if you are recovering from surgery, suffer from heart disease, extremely high or low blood pressure. Pregnancy may also limit the extent of your Aerial workout.

Vertigo and dizziness sufferers may feel a level of discomfort in inversions (hanging upside down) and during swinging motion, although it is entirely optional to do so and there are many alternative exercises available for you to experience.

It is recommended to always seek professional and/or medical advice before beginning any new fitness activity.
